The Network and Telecoms Support Service is provided by the Voice and Data Team and covers the proactive and reactive maintenance and support of all voice and data services and the on-going development of these services to meet the needs of our partner organisations.
This includes the maintenance and support of the Local and Wide Area Data Networks including the Community of Interest Network (CoIN) and liaison with Connecting for Health (CfH) and Network3 Service Provider (N3SP) in the provision of connectivity to the NHS national network. The CoIN provides a cost effective and critical solution in providing connectivity across the wider health economy.
The service also includes the maintenance and support of both existing legacy telephone services and Internet Protocol (IP) telephony, as well as the full range of communications services detailed below.
